Her perspective is enriched by having significant senior roles in every angle of the sector – as CEO, private equity partner (at industry-leading consumer PE firm, L Catterton), consulting partner (at McKinsey), and Board member on multiple consumer businesses.
Sally was CEO of Hanna Andersson from late 2020 thru July 2021, rejuvenating this iconic sustainable children’s apparel brand as an e-commerce business, delivering 30% top line growth and quadrupled profitability. As Chief Executive Officer of PaperSource from 2007-2015, Sally built a team that transformed the company into a design-driven brand, grew the company from 20 to 120 stores, delivered profitability in line with top-decile specialty retailers, and led a sale process in 2013 that delivered 5x investor returns.
As an Operating Partner at L Catterton, the world’s leading consumer growth investor, Sally was an engaged Board member on a number of portfolio businesses, advisor to a broader set of portfolio CEOs, and active in deal assessment. As a partner at McKinsey & Company, Sally worked with a number of major branded companies and retailers on their growth strategies, format renewal, and operational processes. She was also SVP of Strategy and Business Development at Gap Inc and spent three years at Citibank in New York and Latin America working with consumer companies. Sally has a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University/Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
Sally has served on the Boards of Hanna Andersson, Sweaty Betty, Protein Bar & Kitchen, CoverFX, Claire’s, Pet Valu, Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco, and Marwen (free fine arts classes for Chicago CPS schools). Sally lives outside Chicago, has three daughters (ages 23, 20, and 11), and has been involved in her community as Co-Chair of the New Trier Township Highschool PTA, Executive Board Member of Marwen (free fine arts classes for underserved Chicago youth), and as a member of Young Presidents Organization.
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Moudy Elbayadi is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, responsible for driving the technology strategy and roadmap across Shutterfly.
With twenty-five years of experience, Moudy has worked with a number of high-growth companies and across a variety of industries. Most recently, Moudy was Senior Vice President of Product & Technology for Brain Corp, a San Diego-based AI company creating transformative core technology for the robotics industry. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President, Technology, at mobile app pet care company Wag!, where he oversaw product development, technology operations, security, and DevOps, and was responsible for building the organization’s data insights platform. Prior to Wag!, Moudy served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Symantec’s Consumer Business Unit, following the successful sale of LifeLock to Symantec for $2.3B. He has also held leadership positions at ACTIVE Network, Intuit, IndyMac Bank and Bank of America.
Moudy earned a doctorate in leadership and change from Antioch University, a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Chapman University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Redlands. Outside the office, Moudy loves to read, sail his 36’ Cleopatra, take long-distance bike rides, and practice yoga.
Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer
Dwayne Black is Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Shutterfly. He is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of Shutterfly manufacturing, global order fulfillment and customer success operations in the industry-leading Fort Mill, SC; Shakopee, MN; Tempe, AZ; and Plano, TX manufacturing facilities. Dwayne is also responsible for the Shutterfly Business Solutions (SBS) market. An experienced leader in digital printing, Dwayne brings more than 30 years of operations and logistics expertise, with experience opening and restructuring 18 manufacturing and distribution facilities domestically and internationally. Dwayne has played an integral role in numerous acquisitions, including taking Shutterfly from a publicly traded company to private equity.
Prior to joining Shutterfly, Inc., Dwayne served as Vice President of Operations with the Banta Corporation, a leading provider of printing and digital imaging solutions to publishers and direct marketers, owned by RR Donnelley (NYSE: RRD). There, he was most recently responsible for the strategic direction and management of five manufacturing facilities. Throughout his 12-year tenure with Banta, where his clients included many Fortune 500 companies, Dwayne held various leadership positions within Banta’s Literature Management Group, Packaging & Fulfillment Group and Book Group.
Before joining Banta, Dwayne was the Logistics Manager with Porcher Ltd., a division of American Standard, Inc. He has also held management positions for other consumer products companies including Imperial Wallcoverings and Banner Foods.
General Manager, Lifetouch
Todd Marshall is the General Manager of Lifetouch, responsible for the Lifetouch portfolio including school, preschool, and church photography, as well as JCPenney Portraits by Lifetouch and BorrowLenses.
Todd brings more than 20 years of experience across strategy, operations and marketing. Most recently, Todd was the Chief Strategy and Digital Officer at Patterson Companies, where he led the design and execution of their digital strategy with a deep focus on modernizing the customer experience and enabling the sales and operations teams with innovative digital platforms. He also had responsibility for driving growth and profitability in Patterson’s software business and was instrumental in defining and executing Patterson’s strategic plan. Prior to Patterson, Todd was a Senior Vice President of Marketing at Target, where he most recently had responsibility for the company’s consumer insights, loyalty marketing, and marketing operations teams. Over his 14 years at Target, Todd led teams in corporate strategy, merchandising, marketing and operations, delivering exceptional financial results and building new capabilities across the organization. Before that, Todd was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company where he was based in Minneapolis and London.
Todd received his B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. In his time away from the office, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and volunteering in the community.
Chief Administrative and Legal Officer
Sharon Segev is Chief Administrative and Legal Officer for Shutterfly. She is responsible for driving the alignment of all business, legal and people operations functions for the Shutterfly family of brands.
Sharon has more than 20 years of international and operational expertise in driving large scale initiatives to enhance business efficiency. Most recently, Sharon was Chief Financial and Legal Officer for Smule, a social platform connecting millions worldwide through music, where she blended functional boundaries managing the finance, HR, legal and business affairs functions to bring a strategic focus to business operations. Previously, Sharon was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at LifeLock where she led LifeLock’s transformation and $2.3 billion acquisition by Symantec and drove the cross-functional transformation of information security, data privacy and compliance for the company. She also previously held senior positions in a variety of strategic business functions including legal, corporate development, people operations and business practices with growth startups, global enterprises and turnaround companies.
Sharon earned a dual degree in Law & Accounting from Tel Aviv University and has been recognized by multiple industry groups, including Business Journal Woman of Influence and Public Company Corporate General Counsel awards.
Sharon is an avid supporter of diversity, inclusion and belonging with an outside-the-box hiring and team-building mindset. She enjoys traveling with her family, creating new recipes and making Shutterfly books to capture her favorite moments and experiences.
Vice President of Communications and Public Relations
Jennifer George Caligiuri is Vice President of Communications and Public Relations for Shutterfly. She is responsible for all strategic communications functions for the Shutterfly family of brands, including media relations, executive communications, organic social media, issues management and internal communications. In this role, she leads comprehensive corporate storytelling across all internal and external channels.
Jennifer has 20+ years of experience in driving brand and executive visibility and elevating values-based storytelling. Most recently, Jennifer was global director of communications at Headspace, a global leader in mindfulness and meditation, where she was responsible for the company’s PR and influencer marketing efforts, launching in international markets including Germany and France, as well as leading corporate communications, issues management and internal communications. Previously, Jennifer was head of PR at Murad, a prestige beauty brand owned by Unilever, where she oversaw internal and external communications, including the launch of Unilever Prestige’s first-ever social purpose program, while also managing multiple brand launches, organic social content and influencer marketing. Prior to that, Jennifer was director of corporate communications and public relations at The Wonderful Company, owner of FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios and Teleflora.
Jennifer earned an MBA from Boston University and currently resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.
General Manager, Spoonflower
Michael Jones (MJ) serves as the General Manager of Spoonflower with oversight of Shutterfly’s Strategic Partnerships. Prior to joining Shutterfly, MJ held multiple senior executive positions, including CEO of Spoonflower. He was also Chief Revenue Officer at Amplience, a London-based content management platform, where he was responsible for worldwide marketing, sales, business development, customer success, and professional services. MJ has also held senior executive positions at Anatwine/Zalando, RetailMeNot, eBay, and ChannelAdvisor.
MJ serves on the board of Triangle-based MemberHub, a membership management software designed to help organizations work smarter, communicate better, and fundraise more effectively. He is also a limited partner at Bull City Venture Partners, a NC-based venture capital firm that invests in software and internet companies, and the Triangle Tweener Fund, a rolling fund that invests in early-stage companies primarily in the Research Triangle Park area of NC. MJ holds an undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Chief Marketing Officer, Shutterfly
Bree serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Shutterfly, Snapfish, and Spoonflower. Most recently, Bree served as the Head of Digital for Hanna Andersson where she oversaw marketing and e-commerce for the beloved digital-only children’s apparel retailer.
In addition to her experience at Hanna Andersson, Bree brings expertise from iconic brands like Nike, J.Crew, and west elm, where she has led efforts to significantly grow their digital revenues through data-driven marketing and consumer-focused experiences. As Nike’s Global Senior Director of Consumer Experiences, Bree over saw the extension of Nike’s loyalty program to their wholesale partners, launching their first partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods and bringing the benefits of being a Nike member to the consumer, wherever they shop. Prior to Nike, Bree was the Vice President of Performance Marketing at J.Crew where she helped to reposition the brand’s marketing strategy through a multi-touch attribution lens, implement new technologies focused on personalization and rehabilitate the SEO program. Previous to J.Crew, Bree was the Vice President of Marketing & e-Commerce for home furnishing retailer west elm, where she led the brand’s personalization efforts, launched its first-ever integrated brand marketing campaign and spearheaded a ground-breaking mobile experience redesign.
Bree holds an MBA in Marketing from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in International Political Economy from The Colorado College. She currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband and 7-year-old son, two cats and a very large (120+ lbs) English Mastiff.
Chief Financial Officer
Jan Paul Teuwen has served as our Chief Financial Officer since September 2023. Prior to joining Shutterfly, Mr. Teuwen served as Chief Financial Officer and oversaw the global IT operations of Lumileds, a global lighting solutions company, from May 2019 through September 2023. Mr. Teuwen also served in various leadership roles in finance at Lumileds with increasing responsibility before becoming the CFO, from 2011 to 2019. Prior to his work at Lumileds, Mr. Teuwen spent 10 years at Philips where he held controller and FP&A positions with several business areas including R&D, consumer products, retail, and telecommunications.
Mr. Teuwen holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, as well as a master’s degree in Finance and Investments from Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

David Sambur is a Co-Lead Partner of Private Equity at Apollo, having joined in 2004. Prior to that time, Mr. Sambur was a member of the Leveraged Finance Group of Salomon Smith Barney Inc. Mr. Sambur serves on the boards of directors of Rackspace Technology, Lottomatica, Hilton Grand Vacations, Nugs.net Enterprises, and the parent entities of the Venetian, CareerBuilder, Coinstar, Invited, Inc., ecoATM, Cox Media Group, Yahoo! and Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. In the last five years, Mr. Sambur has served on the boards of directors of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, PlayAGS, Redbox Entertainment, Mood Media, Diamond Resorts International, Expedia, and Terrier Gamut Holdings. Mr. Sambur graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Reed B. Rayman is a Partner of Apollo, focused on private equity investing in the technology, media and security services sectors. Mr. Rayman serves on the board of directors of ADT Inc., Yahoo!, Western Digital Corporation, Edgio, Inc., Coinstar, ecoATM and CareerBuilder. He previously served on the board of directors of Mood Media Corporation and Redbox Entertainment Inc. Prior to joining Apollo in 2010, Mr. Rayman was a member of the Principal Strategies Group at Goldman Sachs and previously was a member of the Industrials Investment Banking group at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Rayman is actively involved with the TEAK Fellowship as a mentor and serves on the Young Professionals Board; he also serves on the Private Equity Executive Council of the UJA Federation of New York. Mr. Rayman graduated cum laude from Harvard with an AB in Economics.

Jeffrey D. Benjamin has been a Senior Advisor to Cyrus Capital Partners, L.P. from 2008 to the present. He is currently Chairman of A-Mark Precious Metals, Inc. since 2014 and has been a member of the board of directors of American Airlines Group, Inc. since 2013 and Rackspace Technology, Inc. since 2016. Mr. Benjamin also serves on the boards of directors of the following private companies: ImOn Communications, LLC and NRG Radio. Previously, Mr. Benjamin was a member of the board of directors of Chemtura Corporation from 2012 to 2017, Caesars Entertainment Corporation from 2008 to 2017 and Exco Resources, Inc. from 2007 to 2016. He has executive leadership experience in the investment industry from UBS Securities and Salomon Brothers Inc. Mr. Benjamin graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in economics and political science summa cum laude and holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Julia Brown is a board member of various companies, including the Molson Coors Brewing Company, Solo Brands, The Honest Company, Ocado plc, The Venetian Resort, and Core Trust, and serves as an advisor to Kearney in their consumer and retail practice. In her most recent executive role at Mars Wrigley, she oversaw sourcing and sustainability for well-known brands like M&Ms, Snickers, and Double-Mint. She formerly served as the Chief Procurement Officer of Carnival Corporation & Plc overseeing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management, taking on this newly created role in April 2015. Prior to Carnival, Ms. Brown served as CPO on the global management team at Mondelez International, which split from Kraft Foods in 2012. Prior to the split, she served as CPO and SVP of global procurement at Kraft Foods, and CPO and VP of corporate procurement and contract manufacturing at Clorox. Ms. Brown began her career at Procter & Gamble and served in strategic roles at Diageo and Gillette. Ms. Brown’s non-profit board service includes currently serving as a trustee for the Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply (UK) and the Perez Art Museum (Miami). She formerly served on several non-profit boards including the Executive Leadership Council (Washington, D.C.), the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (Miami), Camillus House (Miami), the National Minority Supplier Development Council (New York City), the Primo Center for Women and Children (Chicago), the Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital (Chicago), and the African American Experience Fund (Washington, DC). Ms. Brown is also the recipient of numerous awards, including being named as one of the Top Black Corporate Directors and Top 100 Influential Blacks in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine, Top 40 CPOs in the world by Supply Management magazine, Top 50 Women to Watch by the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100, and the Top 75 Most Powerful Women in Business by Black Enterprise. Keith Cohen has served as the President of District Print LTD, the commercial division of District Photo, Inc., since 2018. Previously, he held various roles at District Photo, Inc., including Warehouse Operator, Production Manager, and Vice President of Logistics, from 2003 to 2018. Mr. Cohen was a member of Snapfish’s board of directors from 2015 to 2020. Mr. Cohen holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Denver.

Neil Cohen has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of the District Photo Group, a direct-to-consumer digital print and gift fulfillment service group of companies, from 1989 to 2021, respectively. Mr. Cohen was the Manager of Snapfish and Chairman of its board of directors from 2015 to 2020. Mr. Cohen holds a business degree from the University of Denver.

Jennifer Fleiss is the Co-Founder of Rent the Runway, Inc. (“Rent the Runway”), an online service that provides designer dress and accessory rentals, and Walmart’s text-based shopping service (previously named Jetblack), companies she started in November 2008 and March 2017, respectively. She is a board member of Rent the Runway and an adviser to consumer startups and venture funds. Ms. Fleiss holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mitch Garber is a co-investor and board member of various private companies, including Rackspace Inc., a leading cloud computing company; Lanvin Fashion Group, owner of a portfolio of fashion assets including Lanvin and Wolford; and Aiola, an Israeli artificial intelligence company. From December 2020 to May 2022, Mr. Garber also served on the board of directors of Apollo Strategic Growth Capital, a special purpose acquisition company. He is a minority owner and serves on the Executive Committee of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken. Mr. Garber is Chairman of each of Cirque du Soleil, a global entertainment company; Invest in Canada, a Canadian government agency; and Altimo.io, an Israeli artificial intelligence company. He is a minority owner and serves on the Executive Committee of the NHL team in Seattle. From 2009 to 2016, Mr. Garber served as Chief Executive Officer and President for Caesars Interactive Entertainment Inc., a digital gaming and entertainment business. From April 2006 to May 2008, Mr. Garber served as the CEO of PartyGaming plc (now bwin.party), a London Stock Exchange listed and regulated online gaming company. Prior to 2006, he served as CEO of Optional Payments Inc., (now Paysafe inc) and its predecessor, Terra Payments Inc. Mr. Garber holds an undergraduate degree from McGill University and a law degree from the University of Ottawa. He has an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Ottawa and is a member of the Order of Canada.

Michael Kives is the Founder and a Managing Partner of K5 Global, an investment and incubation firm with an extensive portfolio of notable investments, including SpaceX, the Boring Company, and Relativity Space, as well as successful incubated companies including Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila, and Jake Arnold’s The Expert. Prior to K5, Kives spent over 15 years in the entertainment industry as a senior Talent Agent at Creative Artists Agency where he represented top-tier clients such as Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Katy Perry, and global leaders Mikhail Gorbachev and Warren Buffett. Prior to CAA, Kives served as an interim spokesperson for President William J. Clinton in his post-Presidential Harlem office and worked in Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s D.C. office as an Aide to Chief of Staff Huma Abedin. Kives is an advisor to over 20 startups and fast-growing companies and serves as a Director on the Boards of Yahoo, Shutterfly, and 818 Tequila. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with Distinction from Stanford University.

Namrata Patel is Global Head of Product for Hosting for Airbnb. In this role, she leads supply in over 100,000 cities across more than 220 countries and regions. She leads the product management and product marketing teams responsible for supply growth, onboarding, retention, host tools, pricing, policies, monetization, marketplace dynamics, and commercial products. Previously, she led the guest-facing product teams which were responsible for the end-to-end consumer-facing experience on Airbnb websites and mobile apps including in-product merchandising, search, booking, trip planning, and messaging. Prior to Airbnb, Ms. Patel was Vice President of Product for Minted, leading Product Management and User Experience Design functions for the online design and art marketplace. Ms. Patel also served as an analyst in the Private Equity Group at Goldman Sachs. Ms. Patel was a Fullbright Scholar for the United States Department of State, researching small and medium enterprise development in India, and holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Weston McCurry has served as a member of our board of directors since January 2023 and has been a Principal, Private Equity at Apollo Global Management Inc. since July 2022. Mr. McCurry serves on the board of directors of Invited, Inc. and Norman Point Holdings, LLC. From August 2017 to June 2022, he served as Vice President, Private Equity at H.I.G. Capital, a private equity and alternative assets investment firm, and from August 2020 to August 2021, he was Chief of Staff at BIOVECTRA Inc., a contract development and manufacturing company. Prior to that time, Mr. McCurry worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo & Company, and as an Analyst at 60 Guilders, LLC. Mr. McCurry holds an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
