The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced Shutterfly’s Fort Mill, SC location as a winner of the Pollution Prevention Recognition Award. In 2021, we upgraded many of our printers with energy efficient models and adapted other practices that decrease our waste and the amount of materials used. This improvement helped Shutterfly achieve our sustainability goals for year-over-year waste reduction and reduced costs by eliminating the use of 267,000 sheets of large-format paper–  roughly the equivalent of 100 trees.
